Wedding Celebrants and Ceremonies

A CCGA Marriage Celebrant will listen, advise and support you as you prepare for your wedding day. Your Celebrant will aim to create a ceremony to help make this day as distinctive as you would want.

Whether you hold your ceremony in a reception venue, an outdoor setting or a private home, we have the expertise to make the most of that setting. The guidance you recieve on vows, readings or marriage rites will ensure that planning for this important feature of your day is in very good hands.

You can also be confident that a Monash Celebrant fully understands the Marriage Act and will guide you smoothly through the necessary legal processes. Information about the Marriage Act may be found at the Attorney General’s website

Remember, you can use the marriage celebrant of your choice; you are under no obligation to use a celebrant recommended by a reception venue.

Overseas Enquiries.
CCGA celebrants can assist you with an Intended Spouse Visa application and advise on the Marriage Act requirements.  You will need a letter from the Celebrant to say that you have booked him/her and that celebrant will initiate the official paperwork with you.  It's not necessary for you to have
arrived in Australia before you can begin planning the content and style of your wedding ceremony.
