HINT: It is a good idea to change your
Email Forum password to the same one as your personal password. Then the Automatic monthly Email Forum reminder will
'remind' you
about
BOTH password situations: 2 and 3.
HINT-2: Put
a small sticker on your computer / desk / somewhere else
memorable.
Write
the CCGA passwords written on it.
(or
tattoo them onto the forehead of your firstborn)
eg:
CCGA
Common username = watto
CCGA Current common password = xxxxxx
My personal password = xxxxxx
And, if different to your personal password:
Email Forum password = xxxxxx

NB:
The List of Members and the Email
Forum are separate entities.
You CAN update personal information in BOTH of them,
BUT updating one
DOES NOT automatically update
the other!
TROUBLESHOOTING
PASSWORDS:
If
you are having problems with using passwords on the CCGA
website:
1. Make sure 'caps-lock' is
NOT on when entering usernames / passwords.
2. Many
of you will have asked your browser
to 'remember' the username and other passwords
for you,
so you don't have to fill it in every time
you visit the website. Sometimes the password file
needs to reset
itself, and therefore suddenly
it seems as if the Common username / password
'won't work'!
Just type
them in again manually. (You may have to tell your browser to 'remember' them again)
Have YOU forgotten them? >
3.
Are you using the correct password, AND in the right place? (See above)
Most password problems occur when members confuse the Common username / password,
the Email Forum password, or their personal password with each other.
Ie. * The Common username/ password will NOT work on your Email Forum account
or the List of Members.
* Your personal password will NOT access the Members Area.
OK - got all that?
Now, if you need to.....
