If you need HELP with something:
The answer to almost every support request received is on the website!
So check HELP links in Members area first.
The website is designed to be 'self service'.
If you think you still need some personal support, or want to report an error,
follow this procedure:
1. Try to 're-create the problem'
Repeat what you were doing when the problem occurred, and make a note
of the webpage address of the page you were on, what happened,
and what you tried to do to fix the problem.
NB: Note the number of any 'Error pages' you see. Could be: 400 / 401 / 403 / 404 / 500
Write down exactly what is happening.
2. Fill in a Support Request form:
Explain your problem, CLEARLY AND IN DETAIL!
Do not worry if you don't know all the proper technical names for things.
Just take your time and describe things clearly in your own words.
The Support form will help you describe things clearly.
Please be specific! Don't use vague terms like:
...."What's the password"......"I went to the usual page"...."I clicked the link-thingy"...
You may now what YOU mean, but web-administrator may not. (Use the questions in the support form to guide you)
Remember that the person reading your support request is not with you
and cannot 'see' what YOU are seeing on your computer screen!
Give context!
